Welcome to our paper bead jewelry store. Each piece of jewelry you purchase helps the Ugandan women continue to educate, shelter, and feed their children. Each woman has their own business, working at home, and is coordinated by the Uganda Women Empowerment through Crafts (UWEC) leader, Rosette Atukunda, who is a Ugandan woman herself.
Crafts created by UWEC are distributed here in the United States by Crafts for Peace, and Friends of Uganda.
You can be assured that the women are paid fair wages, work at home with their children, and are considered having their own business.
